Eirik Harraldsson. Brother-in-blood to Chalice of Mercia. Follower of the pagan Viking gods, primarily interested in maintaining a small pagan enclave, the Covenant of the Ice Lake, in northern Norway. Occasional visitor to London.
Megan of Bristol. Childe of Eirik Harraldsson. A Bristol merchant he Embraced to help finance and support the Covenant of the Ice Lake. Recently entered into alliance with the Toreador Lady Gabriella Grey.
Lady Gabriella Grey. Toreador neonate. Member of the Guild Council, agent of Queen Eleanor, probationary member of Prince Mithras' circle of lieutenants.

Geoffrey de Mandeville. Former Earl of Essex, Geoffrey de Mandeville was a cruel and treacherous tyrant in life. Excommunicate, he agreed to the Embrace as he lay dying of an arrow wound, out of fear of the flames of hell. He now serves his sire, the Cainite known only as the Black.
The Black. An ancient Roman vampire, the Black leads a secret Cainite conspiracy whose aim seems to be to free the Church, (and mortal society in general), from Cainite manipulation.
Lord Raguel Viteazul. Former second to the leader of the Tzimisce House Tiranul, Raguel was exiled to England through the treachery of his "brother" Illias, who used fleshcrafting to take Raguel's place.
Hugh Mortimer. A former magus of House Tremere, Hugh sought the ritual which granted Ranulf Fitz Rufus immortality. The attempt failed and he was Embraced by Lord Raguel so that he would survive long enough to face trial for his crimes.
